Grupo ACP’s Think Tank for change Last Thursday, April 6th, Grupo ACP convened its think tank’s first annual meeting. The ACP think tank was successfully launched last September.
Grupo ACP’s think tank is an analysis and debate center on economic, political, social and technological issues. It envisions ideas and recommendations on strategic change scenarios for Latin America.
Social change, business development and the relationships between the world’s and domestic economies are issues addressed at the think tank’s meetings. Its first annual session examined “social trends in Latin America and their impact on microbusiness.”
Members of the think tank include Grupo ACP’s senior management, presidents of major Peruvian corporate boards, and other renowned experts. Think tank members participate pro bono.
Present members include José Graña Miro Quesada, an architect and CEO at Graña y Montero S.A. building company, and director at Grupo El Comercio and Relapasa oil refinery; Jaime Loret de Mola, Vicepresident of the Peru-Chile Chamber of Commerce and the Peru-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Max Hernández, Secretary of the “Acuerdo Nacional” and honorary member of the Peruvian Sociology Association; Oscar Espinosa Bedoya, executive president of Ferreyros, a capital goods trading company; and Pedro Weiss, CEO at General Electric’s division for Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia and director at the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru. |
