La Victoria municipal government joins Protecta’s social mission insurance program In partnership with La Victoria's municipal government, Protecta -Grupo ACP's microinsurance and annuities arm- will make available its "My Municipal Family" insurance program to over 6,000 households in this major Metropolitan Lima district.
La Victoria's local government will buy insurance to then provide it free of cost to punctual local tax payers.
"My Municipal Family" provides coverage up to S/. 7,300 (over US$ 2,500) for five types of claims, including natural and accidental death, burial expenses, sudden household loss of income, and total and permanent disability.
